Iolani Fence & Gate Improvements

Established 1985
Honolulu's Source for the best quality concrete and construction at the most reasonable prices.
The Iolani Palace, its grounds, fencing, and royal tomb site are a designated National Historic Landmark. This project required Kaikor to restore the sizeable half mile long, 100+ year old iron fence line, as well as reconstruct portions of the coral wall using all of its existing material. The project also included restoring the coat of arms mounted on each vehicular gate. All of this work needed to be completed without significant disruption to this special destination for cultural and historic tourism. Kaikor was awarded 2016's prestigious Preservation Award from the Historic Hawaii Foundation for this project.
