About Us

Kaikor Construction Company is a General Contracting firm that was founded in 1985 by Grandison "Buck" Allen and Garrett J. Sullivan as a small, civil work contractor doing $1.5 million to $2 million worth of work on Oahu only. In 1990 Steve Baginski joined the company and by early 2010 he became the company's majority owner and CEO. During his tenure the company has grown from its humble beginnings to doing more than $15 million annually with work on 6 of the 7 major islands, Wake Island and Johnston Atoll.

Working primarily as a General Contractor and occasionally as a subcontractor in partnership with major Hawaii construction companies, Kaikor is one of the premier contractor on structural concrete projects, including bridges, concrete paving, retaining walls, piers, docks and other major infrastructure projects in the state.

Kaikor's reputation speaks for itself and we are known for competitive pricing, superior quality, aggressive scheduling, client satisfaction and a safe workplace for our employees. In fact, Kaikor has been recognized by the General Contractors Association at the prestigious Build Hawaii awards program. We have won numerous awards of merit and the top honors, the Award of Excellence, in 2008, 2010 and 2011 for the Waianae Bleacher Replacement (Oahu), Retrofit of the Hakalau Bridge (Big Island) and the North Kahana Stream Bridge Replacement (Oahu), respectively.
